Another Dimension…

Adding custom henna to your drum head is a great way to visually express the rhythm, energy, and inspiration one feels while playing. This particular drum underwent several applications of henna. It started out as a cover-up job for some pre-existing sad looking henna. The multi-dimensioal design was a thing motivated by many deep and inspiring conversations of life, the universe, and everything.

I have a particular fondness for this one and it has come to be known as “intergalactic”.  Yes, it is perfectly acceptable to have that B-Boys snippet playing in the back of your head.
